FOUNDATION COURSE

Foundation course lays the groundwork for your musical career. You will explore acoustic physics, sound engineering, and signal routing fundamentals, as well as dig into microphones and miking techniques, analog and digital recording, and the utilization of outboard equipment.

Additionally, you will engage with live electronics and electronic music composition, study harmony elements, and explore creative writing with music software. The piano will also be explored as a practical instrument.

Upon completion of the Foundation course, you will be eligible to enroll in the Bachelor courses in electronic music and sound engineering.

Bachelor degree in Electronic Music (composition focus), acknowledged by the MUR (Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research), is a cutting-edge program designed for electroacoustic music composers, live electronics performers, and sound designers.

The curriculum dive into techniques and programming languages essential for translating artistic concepts into reality, using electronic instruments and advanced software applications. It aims to foster comprehensive mastery of instruments dedicated to contemporary electronic music production while also dedicating substantial attention to the application of music in visual media.

In the two-year academic program, you can choose between two tracks.

Live Electronics: this course emphasizes the development of the compositional matrix and artistic identity of the electroacoustic musician. You will have the opportunity to showcase your talent through live electronics concerts, sound projects for installations and visual media, as well as performances in festivals and theaters.

Music Production: this specialization is tailored for those aspiring to become music producers. You will acquire comprehensive skills for managing music projects—from conception and arrangement to pre-production, executive production, recording, up to mixing and mastering. These skills are essential for creating products for the recording industry and media.

CUSTOM courses

Monographic course dedicated to DJing: You will learn the art of mixing, acquiring theoretical foundations and immediately applying them in practice using vinyl records and turntables, along with DJ set simulations.

The course is led by the excellent instructor Sara Provitali, resident singer in prestigious clubs in Rome for many years.
